New Books

Bookshelves and reading areaWhile the Library continues to rely mainly on donations of materials, the yearly budget provides $5,000 for the purchase of new materials; this is approximately 1/3 of the entire budget. This money has been divided so we are able to make monthly purchases.

New materials consist mainly of best-selling books (from the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Minneapolis Tribune lists), one large-print book and one DVD video. These materials are placed on the shelving unit as you enter the library and are usually available for short-term check-out.

Newly donated materials, not best sellers but great reads, will be prominently displayed - check to see what's just come in.
